Figment!

Figment is my final project of Creative Arts Practice. Processing ideas of identity, place and transformation through both the eyes of a child and adult. Using bold, considered colours and the performance of play, complexities of my writing are seamlessly embedded in the mixed media environment. A love of writing, art, learning and teaching were all foundational to both my art and my developed practice as a graduating artist.
Figment features a dollhouse, extended with carboard and papier mache, two hanging textile pieces (double sided) and the novel that the work is based up.
